Fitness24Seven is one of Europe’s fastest growing fitness brands. But the company found itself needing to connect dispersed teams and improve information sharing. As Stefan Hult, Senior Consultant at Stratiteq explains: “each location was in their own little world. There was really no sort of connection across the entire company.”

The solution:

Simplicity and flexibility have been two of the key drivers behind Fitness24Seven’s market success. With that in mind, Fitness24Seven began working with Swedish Microsoft Partner Stratiteq, to draw up a list of goals:

  • To connect each individual with the company, not just the local gym
  • To foster team spirit and greater employee engagement
  • To spend less time on administration, and more on helping customers
  • To encourage knowledge sharing and problem solving
  • To align processes and routines across all gyms, regardless of country

Office 365 F1-licenses were introduced to all of Fitness24Seven’s Firstline Workers (Gym Managers and Instructors). The initial phase rollout was SharePoint Online, followed by Yammer, Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams and an Office 365 solution.

The impact:

Outdated manual systems have migrated to digital solutions, such as a SharePoint based handbook for policies and instructions. Each gym has a separate page combining local and centrally managed content to ensure it´s always up to date, so Instructors can share knowledge. Best-practice procedures are aligned across an increasingly mobile workforce.

Site Manager, Oskar Avard, summarises: “My team leads and I distribute tasks via a planner to my employees so that they know what to do during the day. For a planning guy like me and for anyone that wants good order on things, it’s priceless.”
