The launch of Microsoft’s Copilot+ PCs marks a new era of AI-powered computing, raising the bar for business technology with their advanced AI capabilities. These next-generation AI PCs will transform user experience and efficiency in the corporate landscape.
With advanced AI features and innovative tools like Microsoft Recall, Copilot+ PCs represent a significant leap forward in business computing. The new AI PCs are built to help you get more done, keep your data safe, and make your daily tasks easier by combining great hardware with clever software.
By making AI a natural part of using your Surface laptop, Microsoft Copilot+ PCs help employees enjoy their jobs more, which ultimately helps everyone be more effective as Lars Jespersen, Surface Specialist at Microsoft Denmark explains:
“The next generation AI PCs provide an enhanced user experience, which will lead to increased productivity. That results in employees that execute tasks faster, have less downtime, and experience greater job satisfaction.”

One of the most fundamental features of Microsoft Copilot+ PCs is the remarkable improvement in battery life, lasting up to 1.5 workdays without recharging. This achievement, enabled by the transition from being Windows x86 based to being Windows on ARM based, offers employees the flexibility to work for a longer period in various locations without compromising performance.
Say Goodbye to Lost Work with Microsoft Recall
Another standout innovation of Copilot+ PCs is Microsoft Recall, a revolutionary tool designed to address the common frustration of locating documents, emails, and web pages, that you have previously worked on, read, or visited.
Microsoft Recall continuously analyzes screen content and meeting audio, enabling users to search for specific information effortlessly by describing what they remember – that being a word mentioned in the document, the color of the shirt worn by someone on the call, or another information. This feature saves valuable time wasted on manual searches, allowing users to retrieve information efficiently.
The fact that the AI chip is installed directly on the device not only gives users the possibility to use the functions offline, but it also adds an extra layer of data protection, Lars Jespersen explains.
“Until now we have worked on the machine’s terms, but with the help of Microsoft Recall the machine works on our terms.” Lars Jespersen, Microsoft Surface Specialist.
By leveraging a locally based language model, Microsoft Recall operates independently of internet connectivity, ensuring reliable access to vital data, no matter if you are in the office or on the go.
The fact that the AI chip is installed directly on the device not only gives users the possibility to use the functions offline, but it also adds an extra layer of data protection, Lars Jespersen explains:
“To maintain the high level of data protection that Microsoft software is renowned for, Microsoft Recall employs “just in time” decryption, secured by Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS). This ensures that your data remains protected at all times.”
Additionally, the search index database is encrypted, further enhancing security. All Copilot+ PCs are equipped with the Microsoft Pluton security processor and Windows Hello ESS, providing robust and comprehensive security measures throughout the system.
Users have the flexibility to customize Recall on an app-by-app or website-by-website basis, with the option to disable the feature entirely if desired.
Breaking language barriers with real-time translation
Microsoft Copilot+ PCs offer a range of advanced features such as live translation of 40+ different languages.
This feature enables seamless cross-language communication through subtitles and real-time transcription, facilitating effective collaboration in diverse settings and eliminating language barriers, both during Teams meetings, video interactions, and on other platforms.
“We have come a long way with user experience today, but that doesn’t mean that we are done exploring and inventing. With the next generation of AI PCs, we offer a huge user experience improvement, and there is more to come.” Lars Jespersen says.
