Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile now available in the Netherlands via operator Odido

As of 3nd of October 2024, Teams Phone Mobile is available for pre-order in the Netherlands. A new service from Microsoft that links mobile numbers to Microsoft Teams. Making it easier for employees and business to collaborate from anywhere via making external calls using a single business provided number. Teams Phone Mobile is the only Microsoft Teams native Fixed-Mobile converged communications solution in the market. The service (announced earlier this year on Enterprise Connect) is now available for pre-order via Odido, the first operator in the Netherlands to provide Teams Phone Mobile.

With heightened demand for integrated and secure solutions, Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile remedies siloed experiences of fixed and mobile services while minimizing costs and security risks for business owners in the new area of hybrid work. With Teams Phone Mobile, users’ business provided mobile number and Teams Phone number are the same. Making it the solution for today’s hybrid workforce with high level of mobility or frontline workers relying on mobile as their primary device to collaborate. Calls from users’ devices can also be configured to appear as though they’re coming from the organization to avoid exposing users’ mobile numbers externally.
