This project is founded on the donations given through Benevity and has contributed to giving the Maasai women the funds to start the hotel. Building upon a sustainable business model, the women will long term be able to expand the hotel with the profit that it will bring. The support from Microsoft employees has been instrumental in this journey, as they have contributed their expertise in various areas. They have helped establish a social media presence, create a website, and set up a booking system for the hotel on Booking.com. This synergy between volunteer work and professional skills has demonstrated that much more can be achieved when working together, and how much can be done from very little.
