In many ways, Microsoft’s success as a company is intrinsically linked to our partners’ success. Combining our partner’s industry’s knowledge with the power of our platform means that together we are uniquely placed to help solve our customers’ business challenges.

Each year, there is huge excitement amongst the Microsoft Ireland team around our ‘Partner of the Year’ awards. Our partners represent some of our closest and most important stakeholders, and their role is crucial: as agents of change, they bring Microsoft products and services to life for customers around the world. We want to acknowledge and celebrate their outstanding successes and innovations through these awards, with recipients being selected for their commitment to customers as well as the impact of their solutions and their exemplary use of Microsoft technologies.

Each of Microsoft Ireland’s 14 award-winners for 2022 simplify the complex to support each customer’s digital acceleration with best-fit business solutions. Each worthy award-winner is committed to technical excellence and has a proven track-record in building and implementing Microsoft-based solutions that drive new growth and create real-world impact. One exceptional partner that merits a call out is eir evo, our overall Partner of the Year for 2022 and PowerApps Award-winner. The eir evo team have proven time and time again that they have the required skillset to build, plan and execute business transformation strategies for a broad range of customers. Their unique portfolio of apps, combined with their consultative offerings, is already driving thousands of users across Europe to access more seamless, sustainable and modern ways of working. Congratulations to Managing Director Martin Wells and his team on all their successes to date.

Another multiple award-winner for 2022 is our committed partner Codec who won three awards: for Business Applications & Business Applications SMB, Azure Infrastructure and Data and AI. Their support to customers in terms of data analysis for example is truly impressive. Codec Azure Commercial Lead Eamonn Breen and his colleagues recognise that business data is the engine of innovation and they are dedicated to helping customers use this data to seize market opportunities and enjoy long-term growth. We look forward to collaborating with the team for many years to come to help customers to achieve maximum business value, wherever they are on their data journey.

As part of our Partner Pledge initiative, we actively encourage our partners to play a role in addressing broader societal challenges and as part of the ‘Partner of the Year’ awards, our partner EY Ireland has been commended for its significant sustainable commitments. EY Ireland is actively working to reduce its total emissions and offsetting and removing more carbon that it emits, as part of its ambition to reduce total emissions by 40% and achieve net zero in 2025. This includes for example reducing business travel emissions by 35% and overall office electricity usage, as well as providing EY teams with tools that enable them to calculate and reduce the amount of carbon emitted when carrying out EY client work. We congratulate EY on its achievements to date and we will continue to encourage all our partners to prioritise ‘giving back’ to society through our four Partner Pledge commitments as it is not just the right thing to do but also makes strong business sense.

At Microsoft, our mission is to empower people and organisations to achieve more, and our partners are making this possible, inspiring business owners and leaders every day to modernize the way they work through Microsoft technology. We simply could not offer the agility, innovation and consistency we are determined to provide to our customers, without our partners. As the world continues to change so rapidly, and as technology continues to transform every sector on the planet, the close collaboration with our partner ecosystem means that we will continue to grow together.

I would like to personally thank all of our POTYA award winners. Thank you for your partnership, your continued support and your commitment to innovating together.
