Microsoft Denmark is proud to contribute to tonight’s Danmarks Indsamling 2025 by providing 20 Surface Laptops for their call center.
Danmarks Indsamlingen makes a significant effort in the world’s poorest areas, where the need is greatest. Each year, the organizations develop a series of sustainable development projects within a specific theme. Since the first Denmark’s Indsamling event in February 2007, Danes have contributed more than 1.5 billion kroner. These funds have helped over seven million people towards a better life and future. They have supported 200 projects across three continents and 50 countries. In 2023, Danes raised 100 million kroner. This year, the funds collected will be directed towards projects in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Niger, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen. These projects are managed by Denmark’s 12 largest humanitarian organizations, ensuring that the aid reaches those who need it the most. Read more about Danmarks Indsamlingen here.
As part of tonights event, Microsoft Denmark is providing 20 Surface Laptop 5 devices to be used in the call center during the event. These laptops will be equipped with chargers and mice, and will be pre-installed with Danish language settings to ensure smooth operation during the live broadcast on DR1 and DRTV on February 1, 2025.
For mulitiple years, Microsoft Denmark has contributed to the event with the Surface Laptops and have been used by the participants from the call center. We look forward to making a difference again next year.
