“Nobody works five days a week at the office anymore; people work at home for five days.” If someone brought this up for discussion more than two years ago, <\/span>they<\/span>\u2019d still be <\/span>discussing<\/span> it. <\/span>Same goes for us<\/span>. <\/span>As a result of the pandemic, t<\/span>he <\/span>concept of how<\/span> we work has <\/span>been turned on its head<\/span>. Fortunately, <\/span>there<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> a better ‘hybrid’ balance<\/span> these days<\/span>: people combine working at home with working at the office. This raises the question: do meeting room<\/span>s<\/span> still fit in this new way of working? Currently, only 6% of <\/span>office<\/span> meeting rooms <\/span>enable<\/span> participants from home to join the meeting as <\/span>equals.<\/span>\u00b9<\/span><\/span> Meeting rooms <\/span>lag behind<\/span> reality. <\/span>And the <\/span>consequences<\/span> are major<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We hold quite a few meetings here in the Netherlands. Our work is becoming more complex and knowledge is spread across the organization. On average, knowledge workers are members of 10 virtual teams.
