Companies and individuals around the globe are taking action to build a more sustainable future. Sustainability is on everyone’s agenda, but why does Microsoft and our Partner ecosystem engage with programs for reducing CO2 levels and talk about sustainability? Can sustainability be good for business?
On our Partner Sustainability Day 5th of May, we explored some of these topics. Nils Kristian Liveng-Ness (M&O lead at Microsoft Norway) kicked things off with Microsoft’s perspectives on sustainability and approach to reducing carbon emissions.
This was followed by an interesting chat with Stine Lise Hattestad Bratsberg (Partner KPMG Pure Sustainability at KPMG) and Solfrid Skilbrigt (HR & Strategy Director at Sopra Steria) led by Atle Spilde (OCP lead at Microsoft Norway). With years of experience, they shared thoughts on how technology connects to sustainability, best practices and inspiration on how to get started on your sustainability journey.
Last but not least, Per Arve Ekle (Director Building Automation at GK Norge) shared how GK Norge are lifting building automation to the cloud and helping customers with more sustainable buildings for the future.
