We believe that if we are not unleashing the full potential of female tech talent, then our businesses are missing out. Microsoft launched its Power Women Awards as a way to promote astounding female tech talent: increasing visibility, building community, and investing in female leadership.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, 12 female leaders in technology from 11 Western Europe countries won the Microsoft Power Women Award. These women have not only excelled in their professional careers, but have also played a pivotal role in motivating women and those early in career to pursue rewarding opportunities in the field of technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe award is not just a personal triumph, it is celebration of grit, resilience, and boundless potential of women in technology. Microsoft\u2019s commitment to promote diversity and inclusivity in the tech sphere sets a new standard that I hope set the example for peers companies and establishes a new tradition for promoting female talent in tech\u201d \u2013 said the award winner <strong>Eduvigis Ortiz, Strategic Alliances Leader at SAS, Founder &amp; President Women4Cyber from Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome surpassed all expectations with a grand total of <strong>159 nominations received from all participating countries<\/strong>. The 2024 edition of the Microsoft Power Women Award has broadened its reach to encompass <strong>the entire EMEA region including 15 countries<\/strong>: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and <strong>4 areas<\/strong>: Africa, Central Europe, Middle East and Southeast Europe.<\/p>\n<p>All 19 Winners will be invited to join the <strong>Microsoft Women\u2019s Leadership Program 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Edition<\/strong>, customized and developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jpetriglieri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Jennifer Petriglieri<\/a>, at the <strong>INSEAD Business School<\/strong> in Fontainebleau in France.<\/p>\n<h2>How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for women who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work for a Microsoft Partner in one of the participating countries\/areas<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of 15 years of work experience, part of it with a <strong>leadership position<\/strong>. Leading strategic tech deployments or technology R&amp;D roles are valued.<\/li>\n<li>Can share evidence of professional evolution and results, and work promoting diversity.<\/li>\n<li>Have a strong presence on social media as an influencer or opinion maker is also valued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/MPWAForm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nominate yourself<\/a> or share the link with one of the Power Woman you know from the Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
