And that transformation is opening a wealth of new opportunities to bring diversity to the industry.<\/h2>\n<p>Digital technologies are game changers for the manufacturing industry.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/customers.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/story\/818687-outokumpu-azure-manufacturing-finland-en\"><strong>Outokumpu<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has been on an inspiring journey driving its sustainability agenda through their use of data and AI. Another story that inspired Laurence Janssens is that of the world\u2019s largest diamond producer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/customers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/story\/805946-debswana-diamond-company-mining-azure-botswana\"><strong>Debswana<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that used data and A&amp;I to improve core process efficiency. Being part of these transformations should motivate any diverse talent to join manufacturing organizations. Yet, so far, only a small percentage of women have been part of these inspiring journeys.<\/p>\n<p>Our new video series,\u00a0#WEWomeninManufacturing, aims to bridge that gap by shining a light on the women who are not only part of the digital revolution in manufacturing, but are leading that change.\u00a0\u00a0Each guest is interviewed by Microsoft, starting with\u00a0 Laurence Janssens, Microsoft\u2019s Western European Lead for Manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Meet DMG Mori\u2019s \u2018Manufacturing Maniac\u2019<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:720,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:480}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The series launch coincides with International Women\u2019s Day, a day that celebrates women\u2019s achievements and raises awareness against bias.\u00a0 Our first guest is self-professed \u2018Manufacturing Maniac\u2019 Katarina Heining, DMG Mori\u2019s Digital Sales and Marketing Lead.
