Even more concerning, women hold only 25% of leadership roles in non-STEM jobs and only 10% in STEM-related positions<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www3.weforum.org\/docs\/WEF_GGGR_2024.pdf\"><sup>1.Global Economic Forum, Global Gender Gap Report, June, 2024<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At Microsoft, we believe that our businesses are missing out if we don\u2019t unlock the full potential of female tech talent. To help change these statistics, we\u2019re continuing our mission to shine a spotlight on talented women in our Partner Ecosystem across the EMEA region.<\/p>\n<h2>Let\u2019s spark change<\/h2>\n<p>What if every woman considering a tech career could see the change she could inspire? Microsoft launched its <strong>Power Women Awards<\/strong> to do just this by promoting astounding female tech talent: increasing visibility, building community, and investing in female Partners\u2019 leadership.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, 19 extraordinary women from across the EMEA region were recognized for their achievements in tech. These women not only excel in their professional roles but are also actively encouraging others to pursue rewarding careers in technology. <strong>Enthusiasm for the Awards blew us away with a total of 392 nominations received from across all participating countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the Microsoft Power Women Awards will once again celebrate women from <strong>15 countries<\/strong> in the <strong>EMEA region<\/strong>, including <strong>Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, along with regions across Africa, Central Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Europe.<\/strong> New this year, we will add an EMEA award for women who have an EMEA-wide leadership role.<\/p>\n<p>All <strong>20 winners<\/strong> will be invited to join the <strong>Microsoft Women\u2019s Leadership Program 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Edition<\/strong>, customized and developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jpetriglieri\/\">Professor Jennifer Petriglieri<\/a>, at the <strong>INSEAD Business School <\/strong>in Fontainebleau in France.<\/p>\n<h2>How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for women who:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Work for a Microsoft partner in one of the participating countries or regions<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with leadership experience in strategic tech deployments or R&amp;D roles<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Can demonstrate professional growth and impactful results, with a focus on promoting diversity in their work<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A strong social media presence as an influencer or opinion maker is a plus<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR9GVWPfKeYVHluN2LcY9DpFUQ1VMTFhFN0I5S1FDVFhZQ0RWTjdZVVIxWC4u\">Nominate yourself<\/a> or share the link with one of the <strong>Power Women<\/strong> you know from the Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
