That is simply good common sense. But it does not mean that development is put on hold. It means that organizations are looking for secure, flexible frameworks where they can continue digitalization with peace of mind. In that context, Microsoft’s strengthened presence in Denmark plays a significant role.”

Daniel Aunvig from Twoday adds:

“We are seeing a tipping point. Innovation is about ensuring that partners and customers have access to tools and platforms that make it easy to build new solutions. And security is about much more than technology. It is about partnerships, skill development, and shared preparedness.”

For Henrik Kim Christensen, flexibility is a key concept:

“We need to provide customers with options, not necessarily because they will use all of them, but because flexibility in itself builds trust. It creates reassurance to know that one can roll back, switch models, or choose local data processing if the need arises.”

Another crucial aspect is proximity, both physically and in human terms. Danish datacenters make a difference, not only technically but also emotionally and in decision-making processes.

“It has real significance that data can now remain in Denmark. Not only in order to comply with regulatory requirements, but because it creates a sense of control. For some customers, it means being able to almost physically see where their data is processed. This is not just symbolic, it is business-critical,” says Daniel Aunvig.

Henrik Kim Christensen adds:

“In the public sector, we have examples of solutions where ultra-low latency is critical. This applies, for example, to welfare technology in care homes, where sensors register changes in citizens’ behavior or health conditions. Here, signals must travel back and forth very quickly to ensure an appropriate response. These types of use cases place demands on both infrastructure and support and we can now deliver that locally.”

Henrik Kim Christensen, CTO, Fellowmind

At the same time, all three emphasize that the prerequisites for successful innovation are not limited to having the right technology but also include the necessary skills and local collaboration. We should not underestimate this as an important factor.”

Henrik Kim Christensen agrees:

“To a large extent, it is about ensuring that organizations do not stand alone.
